Error from AFL

I have a New Reflecta Professional RPS 7200 that came With SilverFast Ai Studio 8. After installation of SilverFast I Connected skanner and did a prescan, that is when error Message came up. Error from APL, medium missing. I have Windows 8.1 64 bit.
What can be the problem?

Dear customer,

This is a message from the scanner.
It means the device could not find any inserted film or slide.

In case this occurs even though material is inserted, make sure that the latest firmware from the Reflecta website is installed.
The firmware (a 64 kb .bin file) can be uploaded to the scanner through the CyberView Help menu.

In case your issue remains you should contact Reflecta about this.
