LaserSoft Imaging

I have Silverfast 6.6 and would like to upgrade it, because it don't work with OS X Lion. I just downloaded Canon 8600F drivers for OS X Lion from Canon's support. Canon 8600F seems to work fine with ImageCapture. But is it true that SilverFast 8 doesn't anyway support Canon 8600F? (Sorry for my bad english )

No, it is not true, in fact there is not a list of officially supported scanners under SilverFast 8.
We can not tell for sure if it will or not be supported right now.
