6.6.1r3 crashes Photoshop.

installed the latest update, 6.6.1r3 and photoshop would constanstly crash on opening...
un installed it, well trashed what I could find (as they dont may an un installer)
re installed 6.6.1r2 and all worked fine.
this poses 2 questions.
what went wrong with 6.6.1r3, and again my calls for an uninstaller to be included.
anyone else had a problem with 6.6.1.r3...???
