Minolta DiMAGE Scan Dual III and Snow Leopard.

From what I can gather from the SF website Silverfast will not work with the Minolta DiMAGE Scan Dual III under a Mac Leopard environment. I question this as I am currently running this very scanner under Snow Leopard
and have not had any issues. Currently I am using SilverFast SE and am thinking of upgrading to SE Plus to attain the Multi-Sampling option but hesitate as I don't want to tamper with what SF says should not work.
any ideas why I can run it? and is it safe to upgrade? thanks

Dear Customer,

I just tested the Scanner on my Leopard MacPro and it worked without a problem.
If the normal SE runs on your SnowLeopard the SE Plus should work aswell.

thanks! how do I go about upgrading, when I go to the purchase page it seems to appear that I am just buying the software all over again - there is no mention of a price discount for upgrading.
will it recognize my serial number and then apply the discount?

is multi sampling a justifiable reason to upgrade or will I not notice anything out standing?

now click on download order next to SE Plus, you will get to a page where you can enter your serial number to obtain the discount.

Multi-Sampling is very usefull to reduce the overall noise in your scans, please have a look at our feature page:
