I recently purchased a Microtek 10000 scanner,
in bundle I'm using silverfast 6.6...r5.
With the software i also received a IT8 target that is different from the one shown in the manual and web site of lasersoft image, because on the right instead of some patches i have the picture of a nice girl...
When I ran the auto calibration the software correctly identify the target and the patches position but put patches also on the pictures and I'm worried that this would eventually do something wrong in the process of generating the ICC profile.
I downloaded the proper IT8 description file from the Kodak web site because the target does not have a bar code.
Is everything all right??

Re: IT8 Target
Dear Customer,
when SilverFast has given you the message that the calibration was successful and the average delta e value the calibration went through and the icc profile is used by SilverFast.
