SilverFast & CS4 not working correctly as non-admin user

We installed the latest silverfast version (6.6.0r4c) to scan with our Microtek SM 9800XL on a Mac Mini with 10.4.11 (Intel Core 2 Duo with 1GB RAM).
When we are logged in as a non-admin user we can not scan from within Photoshop CS4 (plugin import). We can make a prescan preview, but when we make a scan the resulting image in Photoshop ends up as a white image with the dimensions from the scan.

The funny thing is that the preview in the scanning dialog shows the image being scanned and that the standalone version (non plugin) is working fine.

I tried repairing permissions and changing permissions of the plugin folder but no success.

Anyone with the same problem?

Dear macbofh,

The problem is the Cachefile used to transfer the image from SilverFast to Photoshop.
This file belongs to the administrator and other users can not write to it.
The File can be found here:
/applications/SilverFast Application/SilverFast/SFData.tmp

Change the userrights so that other users have writing rights and it should work.

kind regards

It works! Also users with a Remote Homefolder can now scan from Photoshop.
