Misaligned 35mm Frames
PostPosted: Mon Jan 23, 2017 9:46 pm
Hi,
I’ve been using my FS120 scanner and SilverFast 8 without issue since I bought it in May 2016.
I was using it up until last night and it was working just fine. Then this afternoon, I loaded my 35mm film tray and the attached screenshot is what I got:
As you can see, the frames are misaligned. I was using SilverFast 8 in this screenshot, so I tried v**s**n instead and got exactly the same thing.
Nothing has changed since last night, when it was working perfectly. I’ve checked and double-checked my loading of the film into the carrier and it’s fine. I’ve checked and double-checked that the carrier is ‘clicked’ into place in the scanner, and it is - I just don’t understand what could be happening.
I even downloaded a new copy of the CyberView X driver, and that made no difference - it’s still misaligned.
Have you any idea what this could be?
Many thanks,
Alex
