LaserSoft Imaging

SF 8.8 Ai on iMac El Capitan, latest versions. Scanning with Nikon LS9000ED, b&w 35mm film in Nikon 35mm film strip holder (6x2).

Yesterday, everything worked fine. Today, first two scans were fine, so I didn't check until 15 scans later, when I discovered disaster: all 15 were damaged (see attachment).

The previews are all fine, but the output is junk. I know it is not the scanner because I tried v**s**n between SF sessions, all works fine on v**s**n. But SF just will not work. I tried rebooting, etc, but that doesn't help.

Anyone have any ideas as to what is going on?

What exactly do you mean.
The image you posted looks like a negative that is scanned without transformation.
Or maybe a positive scanned in negative mode.
Have you checked your settings?
Unfortunately the image you attached is very small so I can not see any settings.

The size image you allow is so small that it does become useless.. I had to keep reducing to get it to fit that it has, I see here, become useless. I didn't keep the original of that, but do have an image of the resulting problem, where size doesn't matter. This is the result of scanning:

This happens when you try to use infrared correction with B&W film.
The silver halide emulsion of B&W film unfortunately blocks the scanner's infrared channel.
By this the data becomes unusable for the automated scratch and dust removal.
Please deactivate iSRD. You can use the software sided SRDx to correct this kind of images.
