LaserSoft Imaging

I've been using Silverfast AiIT8 version 8 for a few months. Today it wouldn't open. When I first installed it, I got messages about an upgrade available, but it failed to download. Today I thought maybe that was the problem so I tried to download the upgrade and failed again. What should I do?

Dear customer,

Have you tried downloading the update directly from our website's download area?
If not please do so, maybe there is an issue with your security settings but maybe you can download the update through a web browser.
