After installing the OS X update to Mavericks 10.9.3 Silverfast AI 8.0.1r46 hangs in "Iinitializing Scanner" Comparable symptoms occur with v**s**n. If anyone else sees these symptoms please post.

I have uninstalled and re-installed Silverfast multiple times. Symptoms remain the same.

Dear customer,

The update did not cause any issues on our test systems.
Have you tried repairing the disk permissions using the OSX disk utility?
If not please do so.
Applications -> Utilities -> Disk Utility -> select main hard drive (Macintosh HD) -> click "repair disk permissions".
