Silverfast 8 Quick Guide won't download on IE 8. I've tried it on two PCs. The same PCs can download when using Chrome instead of Internet Explorer.

Please check your Acrobat reader integration on your IE.
Try saving the files to disk instead of opening them in the browser.
We tested the download with Internet Explorer, FireFox, Chrome, and Safari and could not find any issues.

I had the same problem recently with IE 9. The only way I could get the documentation was to save directly to disk and not open in IE.

But...Lasersoft, there is something wrong with the IE browser access of this file on your web site, suggest you test again. The problem is not with your customers Acobat /IE / OS setup or integration. I can browser access and download pdf files with no issues at dozens of other sites.

You are right, there was indeed a problem which was already fixed a week ago.

I cannot download the Silverfast 8 Quick Guide past the cover page. You indicated that the problem was fixed in early November:

Hi bcgamble,

the problem was indeed fixed. Probably your internet browser has the problem in cache. Please update your internet browser, delete the cache memory, temporary files and history of your browser.
After that you might want to try again.

You can also right click on the link on the previous page leading to the pdf document, it will show you the context menu, there you can choose to save the file to a specific location in your computer.

I have the same problem in trying to download "Quick Guide" for Silverfast 8. If anyone has succeeded, please offer instructions for the latest versions of IE or Foxfire. [At other websites, I easily download PDF files.] I extend a "Thank You" to anyone who can help.

Have tried to download Silverfast 8 Quick Guide on IE9 without success for the past couple of weeks. Updating the browser doesn´t help and when trying to save to desktop nothing appear. I have no problems downloading pdf-documents from other websites.
Something must be wrong with the Quick Guide link on Silverfast´s website, please help!

According to our webmaster, the problem has been solved and tested with all different browsers. Please try using another browser to access the pdf document.

I have the same problem on IE9.

I can download from all other sites than LaserSoft Imaging without problems. I only get the first page and the downloading stops. Also the line asking me wether to save or not does not show. I have tried in Google and Yahoo. Same result.

Yes, I have emptied cache etc. Also all my software incl. Windows and Internet Explorer is completely updated.

I would like to get the most comprehensive manual for my SilverFast Ai Studio 8. I do not find the very large complete manual that I have read about previously among the items listed under manuals. You write that one can download the complete manual or the individual chapters but these options ar not present on the Manual page.

Can You help me?
