Does anyone have any experience with the new Reflecta 5000? In particular, how does it cope with size 127 slides?

Hi,

I have the Reflecta Digitdia 5000 for a few weeks now. Scan quality is generally good, but the ICE seems not to work properly with Silverfast. I have switched-on iSRD (the name Silverfast uses for ICE) on automatic and on manual settings with several detection thresholds. However, the dust-removal only works marginally.

With Cyberview, the dust removal works great, so the hardware must be OK. But I want to use Silverfast because of the batch-processing and colour-calibration.

Who can help me?

please update to the newest SilverFast version which has an improved iSRD.

Dear Martin,

I tried the new version. Unfortunately the iSDR does not prove to be more effectively. At least, I can not see any difference.

But worst of all, after registering and scanning a few transparents, the software stopped and asked again for registration. This time it did not accept the registration code/serial number. Now nothing works!
