How to convert colour neg (positive) HDR file?

Hello,
Please help, Iv spent 3 days looking for answers and am so annoyed Im tempted to take the easy option of v**s**n and Colorperfect...!

..I am considering upgrading from SE6.6 to SEplus 8. possibly with archive suite, for the purpose of getting multi exposure, highest quality scans of colour negatives. And later b/w negs too.

I have downloaded trial versions of SE plus and HDR 8. (as Archive suite SE) I have scanned high quality positives of my colour negs and am trying to convert them back to positives using HDR 8. Can someone please show me how to do this? I can not believe it is so difficult. I have ticked 'negfix' in the options under workflowpilot for 'archive' which is how I think I should be processing my HDR file for export, but going through workflowpilot, negfix is never given as an option before I get to process and 'save'. Ultimately saving another version of the file which looks like a negative.

I am obviously missing something. How do I convert my colour neg HDR file to positive using HDR 8, please :)

Dear customer,

you can simply load your scanns into the JobManager and select Negative mode.

The NegaFix window will come up and you can select the film type.
The copy&paste function in the JobManager will allow you to easily copy the settings to all images loaded into it.

The WorkFlow Pilot is a simple training tool for specific tasks.
It can not handle several images at once.
The "archive" workflow will create unprocessed HDR archive files.
In the HDR it can only be used to add additional information to an HDR image.
You will have to use another workflow like "edit" to get a processed image.

Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
