Is It8 Calibration in 6.6 useful or effective in 8Se Plus?

The IT8 calibration is only available in SilverFast Ai Studio.

No, it is available in 6.6 and I have it on my computer and it still works. What I asked is whether the calibration that I made the other day is seen by the scanner when I use Se8 Plus. If not why not? Having paid to upgrade the program why have some aspects been deleted?

The version number is not relevant here.
In bot SilverFast 6.6 and 8 The IT8 function is only available in SilverFast Ai (Studio).
SilverFast SE Plus does not offer this feature.
You can use previously created profiles by selecting them in the preferences' CMS input menu.
For this the profile must be located in your operating system's colour management folder:
OS X:
/Library/ColorSync/Profiles
Windows:
C:/Windows/System32/Spool/drivers/color/
