I just downloaded the SF 6.0.1r12 update for the Nikon LS-2000. I have no idea what is different about it, though the file is nearly 4 MB larger than the r11 version. Why not post the changes from one version to the other, or at least put a read-me file in the download. What changes or improvements were made, what bugs fixed?

Thanks

I second the idea if it's not too much trouble for Lasersoft to do :D
It's always nice to see what's new/changed.

Adobe, Apple, Nikon, Cumulus, etc., all provide information about what is new and/or different in their updates, so you know what you are installing on your machine.

I should say, though, that I have never had a problem with the updates I have installed so far, going back to 5.5 for my Epson and the various OS X versions for it. In fact, I just scanned an assignment with the LS-2000 6.0.1r12 update, and had no problems. I just want to know what has been changed or added to the tool I now use almost daily in my work.

A few lines of text on the download page and a simple text read-me file as part of the installation would cover it.

Regards,

Once again I have downloaded and installed a new release of Silverfast for one of my scanners (6.0.1r25 for Nikon LS 2000) and I have no idea what makes it different from the old one, apart from the "r25" designation.

Were bugs fixed and if so which ones? Are their new features? Please add a few lines of type to the dowmload page so we will know what is new and different before we download and install something.

I checked the history page and r25 for Nikon M isn't mentioned yet.
