What is new in HDR Studio 6.5?

Since one is required to pay for an upgrade from 6.4... to 6.5 I would like to know what is new in 6.5? In my understanding the new feature "General: Multi-Exposure - a new SilverFast feature." is only for AI and SEPlus? And also the argument for the cost of the upgrade is the new feature "Multi-Exposure" so what is the major new feature in HDRStudio then?

yours sincerely
Anders

Dear Anders,

thanks for your interest in SilverFast. Multiexposure is the most significant new feature in our version 6.5 and it is related to our scanner modules (internal term) only. So your understanding is definitly correct. We do have plans to come up with something similar for our HDR/DC product range as well but that?s not worth mentioning yet ....uups just did ;-)

To answer the question -- what are the new major features in HDRStudio 6.5 then??

# The NegaFix Mode now provides a more neutral environment with the new CCR color cast neutralizer.
# Several new NegaFix profiles have been added to support more negative films.
# The new Auto Frame Detection automatically recognizes and crops each image frame in the preview.
# The new Apple-Installer is now used for Macintosh installations.
# SilverFastHDRStudio now automatically recognizes and sets the gamma value used in SilverFastAi (prefs are synced when applying a genuine SilverFast workflow).
# SilverFast ColorServer (optional)- The Hotfolder enables the user to batch process and sort multiple images according to specific parameters set by the user.

Best,

JAN
