I have seen in one post that HDR-Studio does not read RAW:
viewtopic.php?t=3448
and in one post that HDR-Studio does read RAW:
viewtopic.php?t=3568

So this makes me slightly confused, however I have been able to read and process RAW-images with HDR-Studio.
So my question is, since both programs reads RAW-format, are there any differences in the process of reading RAW-images between the programs, and if so, what is the difference? Is it that DCProStudio are using different profiles depending of cameras and HDRStudio is using linear conversion? If that is the difference hat effects will it have on the images?

Yours sincerely
Anders

There is no difference between the Raw conversion of HDR-Studio and DCPro-Studio. Both gives the same result. Only the different preset gammavalue could lead into differences in first view (1.8 to 2.2).

kind regards

Hello - based on the response above, if one already has HDR Studio does that mean there is no need to own DC Pro?
