Job Manager. identifying source file
PostPosted: Sat May 14, 2005 6:41 pm
using VLT, I added a folder of images to a JM queue. accidentally, that queue included duplicate jpg images of some of the tif files. I didn't realise this until I was working with the images in JM Edit mode.
so, at this moment, the JM queue shows two images:
Perfume 20050504 082
Perfume 20050504 082 copy
one of the source files is the tif version. one is the jpg version.
unfortunately, there appears to be no way to identify the source file so I can't be sure which queue item to delete. the best I can do is check the colour graphs in the Picture Settings palette and look for breaks in the graphs indicating 24-bit source instead of 48-bit.
the preview window's title is never updated while in Edit mode (or even in main mode) so it's useless.
any suggestions?
regards,
Gregory
