Wrong colors, sames negative, different resolution

I just got a brand new 7600i AI. Problem is when scanning negatives I got different results (color wise) when selecting different resolutions.

Please note that I did not change any settings between scans.

Not really, this problem is created by the scanner driver itself. It produces a slight change in the higher resolution
We have already reported this to the manufacturer, hopefully they might bring a new version of the driver correcting this issues

Hello Everyone,

I have the same problem here with my brandnew Plustek 8100 and Silverfast SE Plus 8.0.1r19 too. I´m wondering whether the problem with the drivers from Plustek has been solved yet.

I made a comparison of the same negative being scanned @3600dpi and @ 7200dpi yesterday:

Scanned with Silverfast SE Plus 8.0.1r19 on a MBP 2,26 Ghz, Mac OS 10.7.5, No colour correction except Negafix' "Kodak Ektar" was applied, Scan saved as Tiff,

Sorry I overlooked this thread.
Yes as far as we know the new drivers fix this issue.

On Windows systems please download the latest driver from the Plustek website.

On OSX the driver is included in 8.0.1r19.
However in some cases these were not updated correctly.
To solve this delete the "Plustekxxxx.framework" folder(s) from the directory
/Library'/Frameworks.
(the xxxx shows your scanner number but you can delete all "Plustek....framework" folders in case you are not sure)

After that reinstall SilverFast 8.0.1r19.
