Hi to all,
Today is my first day with SIlverFast and a 7600i film scanner.
I'm happy, but I want to check if this is correct.
I don't know if is correct to post this question here or in the Adobe forum....

If in Photoshop I scan a 35mm film, the only selection for the color deep is 48>24 and 48 color. With the old release software 6.6.1 (but more instable with CS4 and Windows 7) I can select 48HDR color. Why this option is disabled ?
If I scan an image outside PhotoShop in 48bit HDR, there is a plug in to see the 48HDR bit file in photoshop or I need to buy your HDR Studio to handle the .tif produced from your software?
If I open in CS4 the .tif file in 48HDR bit dept the image is very dark.

Thanks in advance for your reply..

Dear customer,

Photoshop can not handle and save 48bit HDR archive files.
These are meant to be used with our SilverFast HDR software.
The option was accidently available through photoshop, this bug has been fixed.

kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

You have right....
I have double checked with an adobe guru and he said me the same... Photoshop CS4 & CS5 doesn't use 48bit tif image format .....

Thanks again for your reply
