LaserSoft Imaging

Hi sorry I'm completely new on this. I have a Mac, I bougth the Plustek 7600i se and received two CD rom with it, one seems to be for Mac the other for Windows only.
I installed the one for Mac and everything seemed to be ok, but when I started scanning, negatives wasn't converted to positive pictures. The Tiff files that was created was a big scanned negative.
Moreover I notice that if pushing the two button Intell Scan or Quick scan, nothing happens.
Did I miss to install something?
Or where else is my mistake?

Dear Mirco,

the buttons on the Scanner are not supported in OSX.
To convert negatives you need to switch to negative mode in the general tab of the settings window.
The NegaFix dialog will open allowing you to select the filmtype.

Also make sure your scanmode is not set to HDR(i) which is an unchanged raw image format.

Yes I had already realized where I had to change settings to scan films.
Sorry to hear the quick buttons don't work with OSX. But it's ok with the software everything is quick and easy anyway. And now I know nothing is broken in the scanner.
