Problem with negative scanning
I just bought a Plustek7300 scanner. When I click prescan, the image appear to be a negative. However if I scan and save the image, it save as a positive image. I would greatly appreciate if someone can help me to fix this issue.

Re: Problem with negative scanning
Dear prakashsvce,
please make sure to choose the "Negative" mode in the main floater's "General" panel,
and to choose "48->24 Bit" mode or "48 Bit" mode in the "Frame" panel.
Best regards
Martin

Re: Problem with negative scanning
Dear Martin,
Thanks for your reply. I believe I have chosen the right option, and still I only get pinkish preview. I downloaded se-plus demo for my canon 8800F scanner and getting the same pinkish too. Somewhere, I am missing something. After spending a day going through the forum, I am not the only one getting this. There were few similar postings elsewhere. I enclosed the screen capture for your reference.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Problem with negative scanning
Dear prakashsvce,
your problem looks rather special. It seems as if your doesn't produce correct image data.
To clarify this, please first reset your settings in the Gradation and Histogram dialogs (you find
the tools in the tool bar located just beneath the popup called "Mode: Standard").
Another test would be to take postive slide and check the positive mode first (but also with
the Gradation and Histo settings cleared).
Best regards
