LaserSoft Imaging

After reading all the information that came with the Plustek scanner, I have no earthy idea how to scan a slide. If possible, i would like a 1-2-3 list of procedures involved, taking a slide being inserted in the film carrier through saving onto a Mac. I would like to use a resolution that would look good on a TV screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
