Hi,

I really don't know what else I can try to solve this issue.

My scanner and also the outcomes were great using the silverfast SE 6.4.4 ( SFD-6.4.4r2b(UScan-SE).exe ), everything worked fine.

Since last week I upgrade my silverfast to the new Silverfast version 6.5.1r1 using the executable download from the webpage ( SFde-6.5.1r1(UScan-SE).exe ). Absolutely no error was reported during the installation.

But now every scan I perform, including the pre-scan, has a really bad green cast, which I'm not able to filter out with any of the option nor features available. I tried different option using the negafix but the overall outcome didn't change.

Can someone give me a hint where to look or what to change?

Today I downgraded to the vers. 6.4 and now the scans are all good again.
I really don't catch the point.

Where is the potential source of such a problem?

please provide me with the serial number of your scanner (printed on its back), so that I can ask Plustek about this.

You tried to contact Pulstek is that right?

The problem is still not solved and would really like to understand why
I can't use the newest software with my scanner.

we have newly measured our Negafix profiles for this scanner.
Please downlaod the new version 655r1 and check.

Today I downloaded the newest available Silverfast Version 6.5.5r2.
I cannot observe anymore a greencast with this version.
