LaserSoft Imaging

I've been through all the manuals and cant seem to find an answer. It must be something silly. I was wondering if someone can provide some pointers?

I am using negative for Kodak Gold 200-6 negatives (and setting for it). The scans are really poor (beyond even trying to manually correct). I have been scanning slides without much issue.

I have aPlustek 7200 and am using XP Pro.
