Ugly Yellows and Reds with Negfix

Hi,
I have a Plustek 8200 Ai with the lastest Silverfast8 and the latest drivers from Plustek.
The scanners gives me the most amazing slide film scans, but color negatives are horrible. I've had the same problem on my previous 7600i Plustek and Silverfast and basically gave up scanning color negatives at home. I thought I would ask the question here to see if other people are having this problem.
Since I am getting fantastic results from my slides I assume it's not a hardware problem with the scanner. I've also tried the same scanner on different scanning software like VueSca*. While VueSca* has many other shortcomings I don't see this red/yellow problem there. This leads me to conclude that it's a silver fast issue.
I am seeing the same problem with Fuji Superia, Pro400H, Kodak gold, portra ultramax, really any film I tried. Always the same red/yellow glowing cyanish problem.
The ugly glowing reds and yellows can be corrected but the correction needed is not easy and I haven't found a way to automate that yet.
CCR and/or Auto CCR gets rid of the overall color cast in my images but it leaves these awkward reds and yellows.
Is there anything I am doing wrong?
