Plustek 7600i doesn't work after update

I updated both the drivers and the latest Silverfast (8.0.1 r41). When I open Silverfast, the Plustek scanner does not show up. My Epson V700 shows up. When I hit the Quickscan button on the Plustek, I can get a scan. Is it the new version of Silverfast or the Plustek drivers?

Dear customer,

Please make sure that you did update both scanner versions.
In case only one is updated the older version will not work.
