LaserSoft Imaging

I have the Plustek OpticFilm 8100.
Neither buttons on the front of the device active the software.
What do I need to do?
The device does scan OK though through the software interface.

Dear customer,

The buttons on the scanner are only supported on Windows.
But they only start the corresponding software (SilverFast or Quickscan) the same way the icon on your desktop does.
