Adding to Job Manager

Using Silverfast AI (Latest release, Feb 1, 2013)
(Demo key at present. The scanner is on evaluation. )
Scanner is an OptickFilm 120
Perhaps I'm missing something but I can't find any obvious way of adding new scans to the Job Manager.
I'm using the 35mm mounted slide carrier and the 120 film strip carrier.
If I hit Prescan I get the first image previewed and added to the job Manager list. If I go into the "Overview" to choose my next frame, when I hit OK it runs another prescan and replaces the item in the job manager.
I've watched the video and read over the PDF. The demo video shows a different dialogue altogether, I think from a flatbed setup.
So, the questions are: Is this a limitation of Demo mode? Is this a bug? Or am I just thick?
Thanks and regards,
Andy.

Dear Andy,
Please make sure you are using the latest
update 8.0.1r20.
There you will find the possibility to add frames to the JobManager in the "Overview" window.
kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn

Yes, we are promised the functionality in this version, but what keystrokes and commands do we use ? In the overview we can select the frames and press Ok to view a preview of one frame (thumbnail). But having made adjustments to that frame and selecting Job manager only that frame is transfered to the Job manager. When selecting another frame (thumbnail) from Overview the previous frame get replaced with the new frame and the original frame is lost ?

Dear MartinN,
which scanner are you using?
This feature has only be added for the
Plustek 120 at this moment.
Other scanners will soon follow.
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

I am using Opticfilm 120 and SF 8.0.1r20 and I can't get more than one overview thumbnail to the Job manager because I have no instructions.

Which film size are you scanning?
The overview has a button to refresh the thumbnails.
Did you press that?
kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

Yes, I did a refresh and the overview shows three thumbnails from a 6x7 film. When I select a frame with OK that frame moves to Job manager but when I choose another thumbnail that one replaces the originally selected thumb and I still have only one thumb in Jobmanager and not two or three. I want to know the exact operations needed for selecting and transfering two or more thumbs to Jobmanager.

In case the button is not visible please try resetting SilverFast through the Service Dialog.

I resetted SF 8 options/preferences through Service dialog. No new buttons are appering in Overview dialog or anywhere else, I only lost all my important preferences.

Have you tried reinstalling the latest

Yes, reinstalling the OF120 version indeed made the button appear. Now it works very fine. The problem seems to have been that I have two scanners, the OF120 and Epson V700, and that I installed the SF 8.0.1r20 version for V700 AFTER i had installed the OF120 version in my first try to update both versions.

Thank you for this information.
I will forward this to our testing center.
We will try to reproduce this and make sure this is prevented in the future.
kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
