The slow scan speeds achieved by Silverfast with the Minolta 5400 seems to have been mentioned a few times in this Forum. However rather surprisingly nobody from Silverfast has actually provided a solution! Come on guys get thinking - you are supposed to be the experts ...

PS After adding a comment to a previous post it appears at least one customer has gone down another route avoiding Silverfast software.

as you know from our replies to your support request the problem is well being tackled already by the SilverFast development staff.

The guys there are already 'thinking', and yet another SilverFast bashing posting here wouldn't help anyone further anyhow, or speed up anything, if this had been the intention of this posting.
