Just tried the abovementioned demo version with my Minolta 5400 and am quite pleased. Agfa Copex scanned as a color negative with NegaFix setings other/other/linear resulted in a very dense blue channel. Everything else seems ok. Is this what I should expect? Will there be a different version for the 5400 or is it ok to use the one for the Multi Pro?

Great news!

I bought that scanner today and still can?t wait for the release of Silverfast for this device ;-)
After using Silverfast for my previous LS30, Powerlook II and finally my allready existing Epson 1680pro, it?s really hard to miss the great features and consistent handling of Silverfast for my new device! Every factory driver is still a compromise comparing to SF!

Can you tell me more about the timeframe for the release of the Scan Elite 5400 version and a aproximatly EURO pricing (with IT8 option)???

kind regards
your customer
Wolfgang

You have a stellar product and have had a captive audience for more than 3 months, when do you expect to launch support\software version for the 5400? Any suggestions in the mean time?
