LaserSoft Imaging

Have just downloaded Silverfast SE ver. 6.6. for above mentioned scanner. The OS on the PC is Windows 7. I am aware that Silverfast does not support W7 for the scanner. Do I need a special driver to make Silverfast work on the computer?
And suggestions?

Dear Ole,

Te Minolta Scan Dual IV unfortunately is not supported in Windows 7.
The last officially supported operating system is Windows XP.
