LaserSoft Imaging

Having got quite excited that Silverfast was going to be available for the Canoscan I am now dissappointed that there is no support for Windows 98 using USB. Does this mean that there is no intention of supplying a version that will support USB in Windows 98? It would seem to me that there is a large market out there, considering the ease of use and the speed of USB2 and the large number of people who still are quite happy with windows 98.
I would be grateful for an indication of whether this gap is likely to be plugged.

There are some problems with this combination. As I get the Informations, it is possibkle, that this combination could not be supported in future too.
