LaserSoft Imaging

I've have been spending an awfull lot of time trying to install the silverfast driver on my Windows 7 64 bit system. During our previous contacts with the helpdesk there's been said that the Vista driver schould work. Now, i can asure you: it doesn't. I've tried to installed it directly, with the compitibility problem solver (install as Vista driver) but no matter what i try, it just won't run. When uninstalling i see that inly the 32 bit driver is installed and not the 64 bit driver. Maybe that is the problem: i just don't know anymore. Installing and connecting the scanner still results in 'unknown usb device' and no driver installed problem.

I got piles of films waiting to be scanned and spent so much time till know.

I know this (mediax ws 3600 pro) isn't a current model anymore, but it is still a very good filmscanner: it deserves a good driver. When will a decent and working (money worth while) driver for W7 64 bit be available?

the problem here is that the company Mediax does not exist anymore and therefore you need to download the driver from PIE the
OEM Manufacturer of the Scanner. Below you will find a link to the driver:
