Image file numbering tweak

When SilverFast (8.0.1) writes a file, it appends a " (nn)" sequence number if the file already exists. This is very useful!
It would be nice, however, if the sequence numbering were such as to produce files in alphabetical order. Unfortunately "xyx.jpg" sorts after "xyz (nn).jpg", and (in some software) "xyz (2).jpg" sorts after "xyz (17).jpg".
Perhaps there could be an option to number files like, say,
xyz (0001).jpg
xyz (0002).jpg

Cheers,
John
