Multi Scans in Ver 8 of SE +

I have been using SilverFast SE + version 6.6 where I had the option of scanning a document/film more than once.
Why has this feature not been incorporated in version 8?
Would dearly like to acquire the new version but am holding out for inclusion of this option, until then I will continue using ver. 6.6

Hello Artur,
In my trial version of SE+ running on Canon 5600F I do not have the Multi Exposure function included, thus would have to rely on Multi Scans.
Kind regards,

Dear Peter,
SilverFast 8 SE+ has
MultiExposure included, so you can
upgrade to SF8.

Checked your reference re multi-scan or multi-exposure - the latter (multi-exposure) is supported by SE+ ver 8 on an Epson V750 on your list of Multi-Exposure compatible scanners.
However, the model I use (CanoScan 5600F) has neither of these functions included in my trial version of version 8
Will multi-scan be implemented in a future version of SE+??
Kind regards,

Dear Peter,
it depends on the hardware in this case if ME is available or not.
Your scanner is not able to control the exposure time so ME is not available.
