1) After I push StripPreview button, scanner is "thinking" about something - then display old strippreview, so I need to push one more button for perform actual preview. But in this case, WHY program/scanner "thinking" before just open StripPreview window?
2) I explore all documentation locatef onto CD but cannot understand how I can just scan rool of film witt the same settings for each frame? JobManager take "default" setting for each job (305dpi? why anyone need that?) and I need to change settings for each frame (even in Negafix! but it is the same film by default...) manually - it means new preview for each frame... I even be forced to download CyberView for that single purpose...
3) Printing from StripPreview show to me only empty placeholders instead of images itself (I used regular office b-w printer QMS 2560, tryed both PCL and PostScript drivers - may be it is printer problem)

Dear Timus,
is it possible that your SilverFast version is older than the current update on our website?

When you wonder about the film strip overview presenting the last preview and not doing a preview right away, why did you never wonder about SilverFast when opening always showing the last preview and not doing a preview scan right away

Dear "LSI_support_Kohler", thank you for answer.
I am not first-time SilverFast user - so first what I do before installation is looking for latest version. Unfortunally, last version for PL180 available on site is 5.5.2.r10 - exactly the version bundled with scanner (but as I can see 5.5.2r18 is already available for similar Pacific 1800AFL... I am agreed to wait, as I like SilverFast - but in comparison with r10, I must say, current version of CyberView I was forced to download is much more easy to install and may be a bit easy to understand in whole-filmroll-scan area. But of course, with lack of many other functions...)

Sorry, I didnt understand point of you second question - may be it whas some joke of strange kind unavailable to my mentality?
Point of my question was: if SF didnt nothing new when I want to open StripPreview window, then why that operation - just opening window? - take so long time?
