iSRD "fire-and-forget"

Dear Silverfast developers,
It would be great to be able to remove ALL defects in one shot.
In fact, the IR-channel in 64-bit HDR TIFF images contains all the information on defects. At the moment, it's necessary to play with iSRD and SRD settings, use layers etc. which is time-consuming and does not produce 100% defect-free results on older films.

Dear Herr Moeller,
thank you for your reply.
I understand that removing defects by means of the IR-channel is a challenging task. Perhaps it would make sense to include a possibility to save the 16-bit IR-data file (defect information) as a SEPARATE file? Right now the IR-info is incorporated into the 64-bit HDRi-file.
At the moment Photoshop (CS5) cannot use this IR-info. But in the future -- who knows, maybe it will? Or some third-party developer finds a better way to remove the defects with the help of the IR-channel...
Please don't get me wrong: the SilveFast team has done a wonderful work on iSRD. But there's much room for improvement, as I see it. Your small team cannot do everything. If other developers (e.g., from Photoshop team) join in, the task of removing defects with IR-cahnnel would be accompished more effectively and satisfactory.
