LaserSoft Imaging

It would be nice to be able to select the preview scan size prior to doing a Prescan, it's a little anoying to have the scanner travel the entire length of the flatbed when one only has say 1 4x5 transparency on the bed. I'm on a Umax PowerlookIII-Win98SE
Please seriously consider adding this feature. Magicscan has it and I found it a nice and useful feature.

in such cases where the "area of interest" only takes up a litte proportion of the scan bed you can simply click the CANCEL button at the time when all of the original is visible in the preview.
Here CANCEL means that the process of transfering data into the preview-window is stopped immediately.
The effect is that you don't need to wait until the scan slide has completed its way all down the length of the scan bed.
