Creo (now owned by Kodak) make beautiful Scanners; the only recent available Scanners are Kodak iQSmart 1 /2 and 3 --
the last with XY technology... -- the "older" Eversmart, Eversmart Select/ II, Supreme, Supreme II - are very appreciated in the photographic newsgroups...

Are there plans to support this high-end scanners? I could provide you -- if interested - with both an Kodak iQSmart 2 scanner and the recent oXYgen software from Kodak for Mac OS X 10.5 (and also for windows XP, 32 bit...)

Are there plans to support the high-end AGFA Scanners (Agfa XY, Agfa XY plus !!) -- because these are also real HIGH-end scanners...! :)
Would be great to hear about any plans...

Regards

Dear typestar,

At the moment we do not have any plans to support any of the scanners you have mentioned.

Greetings

There are many museums using Creo scanners. Kodak's software is old, slow, has a poor legacy interface. On the other hand it is horrendously expensive, and poorly supported. We really would like to see you add Creo scanners to your list of supported scanners.

Dear amorosoe

The situation at this time has not changed much.

Supporting every scanner model require a considerable amount of resources and time, this make the implementation expensive, only through relatively large distributions we can offer our product at a reasonable price. Otherwise we would have to charge many times the price of an expensive scanner
Another requirement is to have the device in question for the implementation and further testing.

For these reasons we can not provide support to the scanners in question.

We appreciate your understanding

Kind regards
