Dear dear Programmers!
Please please please figure out a way to get the Supercoolscan 5000 to accept a full lenth xpan negative. It can't really be that difficult for people of your talents! I tend to use my XPAN for much of my documentary work as it is such a lovel format and always have to use my studio collegue's Flextight scanner which is starting to really annoy him!

Please let me know if you can help and I will immediately buy your software!

Yours very hopefully
Andrew Rinkhy

Dear Mr. Rinkhy,

sadly this function is not possible to implement.
The reason for this is that the Nikon 35 MM Film Scanners do not offer the possibility to feed much more than a standard 35MM Film in High Resolution Scan mode. What you could do is use a Nikon Super Coolscan LS-8000 or LS-9000 with the medium format glass holder. On these holders the xpan format would fit.
A cheaper alternative is to use a very good flatbed Scanner like the Epson V750 to Scan.
