Programmed EXIT and operating system commands

  • I suggest to introduce an EXIT command (exit silverfast application) as a "programmable" command,
    i.e. it should be (as final step) available in ScanPilot, JobManager and so ...
  • Furthermore, there should be a "system call" available, a batch command file executed by the
    operating system (maybe in 2 versions - sync or async).
    Then one could power off the computer (after EXIT command - my original idea) or - more generally - use
    the system call for a lot of another tasks (copying files, starting compression, starting other
    image processing tools, ...)
    There should be the possibility to give some parameters to the batch process as well as to
    return an exit value.

Dear Jojogeka
Dear SilverFast users

@ Jojogeka, thank you very much for your suggestion.

@ SF users in general; we would love to please all of you with your feature requests, however, there is a veeery long wish list that has to be studied and considered by our product managers, programmers, etc.
As you can imagine, this can take some time and resources to accomplish, hence not all requests can be included in our software (for many different reasons), of course your request will go directly to our feature request database.

We really appreciate your contributions patience and understanding.

Have a nice day
