Dear Mr. Mazer,

at the moment we have not decided how much this discount would be. But we will try to find a good solution for our customers.
Please note that we have implemented numerous new features in the last major release of SilverFast.

Well, another major new version of OS-X has been announced and is due for imminent release, the third major release since PowerPC architecture was dropped.

So here I am with my customary request for Universal Binaries for Silverfast, maybe third time lucky eh? :-?

Given that Lion will not include Rosetta support, and PowerPC binaries will not run under Lion, I'm guessing Lasersoft will (finally) be moving over to either Universal or Intel binary, and the current PowerPC binaries will be dropped. So to my questions...

Will Universal/Intel binary be available only under a new dot release of Silverfast? 6.7 or 7.0? Or will it be available for current versions? Are we going to have to pay for an upgrade to get the Universal Binary?

Secondly, will these binaries be made available only for the most common scanners, i.e. consumer desktop scanners, or will Universal Binary support also extend to the higher priced premium versions of Silverfast for High End scanners such as Heidelberg, Howtek, Crosfield, Agfa etc?
