see SF 5.5 manual page 45

The "Image Type" selection offers choices Ex: Standard, Landscapes, Skin Tones, Gold Tones, Technic, Evening, Snow, Night, etc. and "user defined..."

Some of these selections, though different in name, have the same description for what they do. Ex: Landscape, Gold Tones & Technic are all defined: Range (contrast) adjusted without color cast removal.

The "user defined..." selection opens the "Motive" dialog box with options to adjust Contrast, Brightness, White Point, Black Point and to Preserve Color Cast, Highlight Color Cast, & Shadow Color Cast.

It would be nice to know what the specific settings in the "Motive" dialog box are for each preset "Image Type" selection.

It would be helpful in choosing a preset and also good information for creating "user defined" presets.

Where can I find this information and how do I get a hold of it?

Thanks...

Dear Mr. Clark,

The build in ?Image Types? are empirical found presets. To explore the settings it's interesting to compare the different adjustments in the gradation and histogram dialogs.
