LaserSoft Imaging

From the time it takes, and my reading of the documentation it seems likely that the 'prescan' for dust/scratch removal is the same as the final scan image. If so, the 'prescan' could be reused without the sometimes very time consuming rescan. This is especially noticable for a 35mm negative scanned at high resolution on an Epson 2450. I am waiting 10 minutes for some scans!
If I could cut this in half I would be a lot happier.

I hope this can be done... I am currently using SE 6. Someday I'll move up to Ai.

In the Prescan for SRD are not all calculations in. To be save in the end, we scan again, so there could not be any problem occur with changed settings.
