Earlier in this forum, someone from Silverfast wrote that the Canoscan FS4000US will be supported.
Any news ? When ? Will FARE be included ?

Up to now the Canoscan FS4000US is not supported by SilverFastAi.

it seems that the FS4000US has a problem with - density range - in scanning positives - especially underexposed positives. Will silverfast be supporting this scanner in the future so that we may be able to address this problem?

Working with Canoscan 4000 and SilverFast HDR
In order to use the power of SilverFast in conjunction with the Canoscan 4000, scan into raw data (48 bit tif) and open those files in SilverFast
HDR using all features of SilverFast
Ai.
You can try the
HDR demo to verify how easyit is!
