would be possible to get the SilverFast software to produce 3 files (RGB) from one scan?

May I ask why you would want to do that? It's just kind of an unusual question. If you want the 3 channels, R-G-B, you could just scan it in, and select each channel in PhotoShop and save them out, individually. Or if you wanted three copies of a scan, you could just scan it into PhotoShop, and use Save As... to save 3 different versions, or scan to file and copy it two times.

Or maybe you just wish it was automated, the way you can select the # of copies when you print?

Three Scans From One File...
Let me assume something here. You are wanting to scan at one resolution and end up with files of three different resolutions... (like a PhotoCD) if this is the case and you are scanning into Photoshop then you should set up an action to do this for you. You could run it after each scan or put all of your scans in a folder and "File->Automate->Batch->YourAction" on the entire folder. This will save you a lot of time scanning... Give to Silverfast that which is Silverfast's and to Photoshop that which is Photoshop's.
Hope this is what you were talking about.

Job Manager will do what you need. You can scan the same image as many times you like and each can have its own frame, set of edits, corrections and even file resolution, degree of sharpening, etc. etc. etc. etc.

Well, we're not all lucky enough to have Job Manager - it's only included with film scanners. It would be nice to have for those of us who do a lot of film scanning on our flatbeds, though. I'm not sure how that would work, though, since the film alignment is not a given.

The "problem" is how to get 23x23 cm aerial film scanned at 15um (creates 700MB file)sufficient enough, not by scanning 3 times or "playing" with Photoshop or any kind of post processing, I simply ask, would further versions of SilverFast software allow, from one scan to obtain the three separate files R-G-B.

Now that I know what you mean, I think I can help you. What you can do is draw three separate frames in the scanning window, then goto the "General" tab and select "Batch Mode (File)" or "Batch Mode" if you have a lot of RAM. You'll now see the "Scan" button at the bottom says "Scan Batch" When you click this button, it will do automatically do the three scans for you.

I think you'll find that four (4) frames are required since frame 2, 3 , 4, etc must lie inside the boundary of frame 1. If I understand the procedure being described you would only need to set SilverFast to scan frames 2,3, and 4.

On a supported film scanner (I didn't know the flatbeds had the facility omitted)you would be better using job manager as it gives substantially more flexibility in what you can do in terms of edits, corrections etc.
