I'm using only negatives so far and I'm really depending on the support of different film types by silverfast. But what I read so far in the forum, it's really a pain to update new film profiles. But they seemed to be stored in the pref-files in an easy way. I would really love a feature (small and easy programm) that updates the filmprofiles (available for each scanner). So I don't have to down the whole programm all the time. And I still wanna profit in the future from new profiles.

And be able to copy film profiles to another computer easily. I moved my scanning from a PC to a MAC, and Lasersoft informed me I was sh^t out of luck. There is no way to "Save" a film type, though you can "Load" one.
