Fix the batch automatic incremental file naming

When I batch scan I love it that I can increment the file name (scan001, scan002 etc) but there appears to be a flaw with this. For each strip of negatives it works fine but when you put a new strip of negatives in the software retains the whole name of the last file including the number and uses that as the stem for the next increment. For example:
If the first batch of six negatives are named as follows:
[negscan_
with the incremental number starting at 01 then you will have files negscan_01 through to negscan_06 as expected.
When you put the next strip of six negatives in and click on the batch icon it defaults to:
negscan_06 as the filename stem
and incremental number is changed to 07 (which is correct). So now you have files named negscan_0607, negscan_0608, negscan_0609 etc.
Of course one can edit this but it would be nice if you did not have to
