LaserSoft Imaging

I'm scanning negatives to a very high resolution and typically it takes around 10 minutes to complete the scan process for each frame. Fortunately I can leave the scan running in the background while I do other tasks on my computer, but other than paying attention to the soft whir of the scanner, I have no other indication when the scan process has finished. There is an option in the preferences for "Process completed sound" but this does not seem to include completion of the current scan. Is there any way to enable that? I'd like a beep (or whatever sound) to alert me that I need to flick back into SilverFast to initiate the next scan. Either that, or have a notification banner pop up (I'm on a Mac).

The finishing sound only plays for batch-scans. You would need to switch to batch-scan for the sound to play.
